Sofia Richie Grainge Is a Minimalist Dream in This Slouchy Gown

Sofia Richie Grainge is no stranger to simple style. In fact, she practically pioneered the “quiet luxury” trend last year, especially once her wedding became a milestone for minimalists everywhere to aspire to.

Last night, the new mom proved she’s still setting trends as she descended upon the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala. As she arrived at the charity event, held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, she looked glamorous in a slouchy chocolate gown by Saint Laurent. Though her look was monochromatic, the asymmetrical silhouette of the dress helped bring an edge to her ensemble.

The sculptural gown featured an oversized top half, with rich brown fabric enveloping Richie Grainge’s torso. Her left arm was also hidden by a billowing long sleeve, while her right arm was left uncovered. Below, a slim skirt offered a more body-hugging fit, clinging to her legs before pooling around her feet.

Richie Grainge complemented the draped gown with a healthy dose of jewelry. A handful of gold, diamond-encrusted rings decorated her fingers, while a matching gold bangle bracelet sat on her right arm. She wore a stacked gold collar necklace around her neck, and used a pair of large gold bedazzled earrings as her finishing touch.

For the occasion, Richie Grainge opted for her usual polished glam, wearing her highlighted brown hair in a slicked-back, straightened style. A light brown eyeshadow accentuated her brown eyes, while a glowing highlight and nude lipstick brought her look full circle. Later in the night, she was joined by her husband Elliot Grainge, who looked just as dapper in a black suit.
